As 12:30 P.M. came around, the ceremony was about to begin. I (Matt) didn't really get as nervous as I thought I would. I was nervous, however it wasn't anything a shot of Absolut couldn't cure... LOL. Cathy was kind of nervous, but she did look very beautiful. The ceremony was great. Everything pretty much fell right in to place. When it was all over, Cathy's parents treated all of our guests to the buffet for our reception. As I stated earlier, tradition was not in mind. Everyone ate and celebrated and had plenty of time to enjoy the lights and glimmer of Las Vegas. Another funny thing about this wedding, or should I say after the wedding, was that on their honeymoon, Matthew & Cathy conceived their first child which is to be born on or around April 1, 2002...
Mr. and Mrs. Richey wish to thank all of those whom showed their support by attending the wedding, those whom gave us wonderful gifts, and everyone else whom could not make it, but wished they did... Thank you!

After the day was over, Matthew and Cathy stayed in the penthouse suite at the Treasure Island Hotel. In their room was a 1991 bottle of Dom, two new terry cloth robes, and two Waterford crystal flute glasses. The suite was astounding. There were his and hers bathrooms made of granite, a separate vanity, a jacuzzi, a throned king size bed, a living room, a balcony, a dining area, and a walk in closet. Everything in the place was high end all the way down to the oriental rugs.
