We left from Washington DC on the 13th of June headed towards our wedding destination, Las Vegas. We purchased our new SUV earlier in the year and chose to drive it cross country. I had taken a month off work and Cathy was finished with school, so this was the perfect time. We drove out West via I-40 and took our sweet time enjoying all the sites and scenery. Cathy's parents, along with her other family members, followed us to Vegas. We drove through Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. We visited various roadside tourist spots, Route 66, the Painted Desert, the Grand Canyon, and the Hoover Dam along the way. 
In Las Vegas, we went Casino hopping every night, partied, ate at the best Vegas buffets, went shopping, and everything else one could do in Vegas... We met up with old (and new) friends as well as family members. Matthew is from Southern California so the drive for his family and friends was not long at all. The night before the wedding, Matt's friends treated him to an awesome bachelor's "night on the town". Enough said about that! Before the wedding, everyone met up in the casino area of the hotel awaiting the big moment...
